Express Entry is the system through which permanent residents of Canada who are part of the Economic category are selected. Under this system, applications for permanent residence are handled by those who meet the requirements of the Skilled Workers, Specialized Occupations, Canadian Experience and some categories of Provincial Nomination programs.
Candidates for permanent residence are selected by the Canadian Ministry of Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship, every 2 or 3 weeks, based on the score achieved by each profile.
The score is assigned according to age, educational level, command of the official languages of Canada and work experience inside and outside of Canada. Some factors give additional points, such as having resident siblings or Canadian citizens, having a job offer endorsed by the Department of Labor and Social Development (ESDC), being fluent in both languages, having studied in Canada or having e-support. a province through a Provincial Nomination.
